Pesa+ investors have the option to deposit funds to their accounts either through Bank Deposits or through M-PESA.
- Go to your M-PESA menu and select the Lipa na M-PESA option.
- Select the Pay Bill option.
- Select Enter business no. and enter the paybill number 888111.
- In the Account Number enter your Pesa+ Member Number.
- Next, enter your M-PESA Pin to confirm the transaction.
- You’ll then get an SMS from Sanlam confirming that you’ve successfully topped up your account. It may however take a few days for the amount to reflect in your account which you can check via the Sanlam Unit Trust app or the client portal.
Option 2: Deposit Funds using Stanbic Bank M-PESA Pay Bill
- Go to your M-PESA menu and select the Lipa na M-PESA option.
- Select the Pay Bill option.
- Select Enter business no. and enter the paybill number 600100.
- Next, enter 0100003738118 which is the Sanlam Unit Trust Account number at Stanbic Bank.
- Enter your M-PESA Pin to confirm the transaction.
- You’ll then receive a confirmation SMS from M-PESA and from Stanbic Bank.
- Forward these two SMS to Sanlam’s customer care email address at clientservice@sanlameastafrica.com informing them of the deposit. Include details of your member number and/or ID number.
- Your deposit will be acknowledged and a purchase confirmation will be sent to your email once the funds are located.
