While chatting you can see the other person’s chatbox with ‘Typing…’. It indicates that the other person is typing to send you a text. To disable the writing status, you’ve to-
- Go to the WhatsApp menu.
- Tap the three dots on the top.
- Select ‘privacy’ option.
- In the list, click on ‘Writing Status’.
If you choose ‘Hide for contacts’, it will hide typing status from your contacts. If you choose ‘Hide for group’, it will hide your typing status from WhatsApp groups.
