How to Change University in KUCCPS Portal

Changing your university choice in the KUCCPS (Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service) portal can be done through a simple process. Follow the steps below to change your university choice:

1. Access the KUCCPS Portal: Visit the official KUCCPS website at https://students.kuccps.net/ and log in using your KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) Index Number and the Password you created during the application process.
2. View Your Application: Once logged in, you will be able to see your current university choices and the courses you selected during the initial application.
3. Check Application Status: Confirm whether the placement has been completed and if the admission letter has been generated. If your admission letter has not been generated, you can still change your university choices.
4. Click on “Application/Revision”: On the left side of the portal dashboard, click on the “Application/Revision” tab.
5. Select “Revise Course/Programme Choices”: In the application/revision page, click on the “Revise Course/Programme Choices” button.
6. Edit University Choices: You will now be able to edit your university choices. Select the university you wish to change and click on the “Remove” button to delete it from your selection.
7. Add New University Choices: After removing the unwanted university, click on the “Add Programme” button to search for and select the new university you want to add to your choices. Ensure you choose a course that you are eligible for based on your KCSE grades.
8. Save and Continue: Once you have made the necessary changes, click on the “Save Changes” button to save your revised choices.
9. Review and Confirm: Review your changes to ensure they are correct before finalizing. If everything is accurate, confirm your changes.
10. Print the Revision Confirmation Slip: After confirming your changes, print the revision confirmation slip as proof of the changes you made.
