On 20 February 2023, Ms.Sasirit Tangulrat, Ambassador of Thailand to Somalia with residence in Nairobi, held a fruitful discussion with Admiral Ahmed Hurre Haariye, General Commander of Somaliland Coast Guard regarding the safety of Thai crew men working in a foreign vessel conducting fishing in Somaliland waters. Commander Haariye assured Thai Ambassador of Somaliland Coast Guard’s readiness to render prompt assistance in such case that Thai crew men face any problem in Somaliland.
On this occasion, Thai Ambassador reiterated the Government of Thailand’s continuous support to Somalia in development cooperation.Â
