How to delete your Spotify account

To delete your Spotify account, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Spotify website and log in to your account.
2. Click on your username in the top right corner of the page and select “Account” from the drop-down menu.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Close Account” button.
4. You will be redirected to a page where you can select a reason for closing your account and confirm that you want to close it.
5. Enter your password when prompted and click “Close Account” to confirm.

Please note that deleting your Spotify account will permanently remove all of your playlists, saved songs, and other data from the service. You will not be able to recover any of this information after your account has been closed.

If you just want to take a break from Spotify but don’t want to delete your account, you can deactivate your account instead. To do this, follow the steps above but select “Deactivate Account” instead of “Close Account”. This will allow you to reactivate your account at a later date if you choose to do so.
