If you have forgotten your Gmail password and can’t sign in to your account, you can recover your password by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Gmail website (https://gmail.com) and click on the “Sign in” button in the top right corner of the page.
  2. In the “Sign in” form, click on the “Forgot password?” link below the password field.
  3. In the “Find your Google Account” page, enter your Gmail username (the part of your email address that comes before “@gmail.com”) and click on the “Next” button.
  4. If you have added a phone number or secondary email address to your account, you will be asked to verify your identity by either receiving a code via text message or email. Enter the code in the “Verify your identity” page and click on the “Next” button.
  5. If you haven’t added a phone number or secondary email address to your account, or if you are unable to receive the verification code, you will be asked to answer your security question or provide other information to verify your identity. Follow the prompts to complete the verification process.
  6. Once your identity has been verified, you will be able to reset your password. Enter a new password in the “Create a new password” page and click on the “Change password” button to save the changes.

After resetting your password, you can use the new password to sign in to your Gmail account on all devices and applications. It is recommended to update your password regularly to keep your account secure.
