Two hikers stranded on a distant California seaside close to Elephant Rock in Point Reyes National Seashore have been rescued by helicopter after rising tides minimize off their exit route, in response to officers.
A 100-foot rope was utilized in a long-line rescue operation. A tactical flight officer/EMT was lowered to the seaside, secured every hiker into particular “hot seat” rescue units, and each have been lifted to security collectively. They have been then transferred to ready Marin County Fire personnel.
No accidents have been reported. Authorities praised the profitable multi-agency coordination and easy execution of the operation.
