A Russian missile strike on a Ukrainian army coaching unit has left three service personnel lifeless and 18 wounded, Ukraine’s floor forces confirmed late Tuesday.
Russia’s defence ministry launched video purporting to point out an Iskander ballistic missile strike inflicting greater than 20 cluster-type explosions. The footage couldn’t be independently verified, and Moscow claimed casualties have been far larger than Ukraine has reported.
“Despite the safety measures taken, sadly it was not attainable to utterly keep away from losses among the many personnel,” Ukraine’s floor forces mentioned on social media.
This marks the third Russian assault on a Ukrainian coaching unit in simply over two months. A missile strike in Sumy in May killed six servicemen, and one other assault final month killed 12 and wounded 60.
