China and Russia are set to carry joint naval workouts, dubbed Maritime Interaction 2025, off Russia’s Pacific coast close to Vladivostok this August, the Chinese Defense Ministry introduced on Wednesday.
“These drills are a part of the annual cooperation plan between the Chinese and Russian armed forces. They aren’t aimed toward any third get together and are unrelated to the present worldwide or regional state of affairs,” Zhang emphasised.
The Maritime Interaction 2025 drills underscore the continued strategic partnership and naval coordination between China and Russia.
