VLADIVOSTOK, July 24 (Xinhua) — Debris of a passenger aircraft that went lacking on Thursday was found in Russia’s Far Eastern Amur Region, with no survivors reported, mentioned native emergency companies.
The An-24 plane, operated by Angara Airlines, was en route from Khabarovsk to Tynda with a stopover in Blagoveshchensk. There have been 43 passengers on board, together with six crew members, Amur Oblast Governor Vasily Orlov mentioned on social media Telegram.
The wreckage was discovered on a mountainside roughly 15 km from the town of Tynda, based on emergency companies.
