Nakuru Girls High School has been indefinitely closed following a pupil rampage wherein property was destroyed.
The unrest was reportedly triggered by fears and anxieties surrounding upcoming end-of-term exams.
The college Principal Rose Menjo has confirmed the incident.
The college students weren’t prepared to sit down for the exams, and the administration didn’t transfer it ahead.
Recently, numerous colleges have been closed resulting from college students’ unrest.
Earlier on July 20, 2025, Kaplong Girls High School was closed indefinitely following pupil protests over alleged sexual harassment by a male trainer, Principal Clara Mitei confirmed.
“The report in regards to the college closure is true following the scholars’ unrest final evening,” Mitei mentioned.
“We launched the scholars to go dwelling at 7am immediately after they turned unruly and disrupted college operations.”
On July 13, Lari Boys High School was closed indefinitely after a fireplace destroyed key amenities in an incident linked to pupil unrest.
The hearth broke out round 9:00 PM and is suspected to have been began by college students in protest.
According to the administration, the boys held protests after they have been allegedly denied entry to musical devices.
