NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 24 – Police FC and their feminine counterparts, Bullets, have been lauded as nice ambassadors of the nation by President William Ruto, who hosted them on the State House on Tuesday for breakfast after their League successes.

Police FC stormed to its maiden Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League title after lifting the trophy on Sunday in the course of the conclusion of the 2024-25 season with a 1-1 draw on the Ulinzi Sports Complex.

The regulation enforcers topped the league with 65 factors, six forward of reigning and document champions Gor Mahia, who needed to accept second place and miss out on the title for the primary time since 2022.

Bullets, however, continued their dominance within the FKF Women’s Premier League, clinching the title with 43 factors, two forward of second-placed Ulinzi Starlets.

President Ruto congratulated each groups for his or her excellent performances and praised their function as ambassadors of the National Police Service and Kenyan sports activities.

 “Let me take this chance to say congratulations to Kenya Police Bullets and Kenya Police FC for the very well-deserved win within the Premier League, each for girls’s soccer and males’s soccer,” the Head of State mentioned.

“I need to say congratulations, and it’s a very proud second for me to obtain you right here on the State House. I needed to postpone the cupboard to do that as a result of that is vital. Kenya is a good sporting nation, and the Kenya Police is an incubator for sports activities.”

He added: “It is important that we’re assembly this morning in order that we will respect what the Kenya Police Service is doing, not just for our safety but in addition for our sports activities, and being the best ambassadors for our nation.”
