Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov commented on Thursday concerning threats issued by U.S. President Donald Trump to BRICS, a corporation comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates.
Peskov informed reporters that commerce between Russia and the US is “near zero” as US firms are nonetheless not returning after leaving when Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. However, he identified that “cooperation with Russian businessmen” can be helpful to the US economic system.
