Faraja is an app within an app or simply a mini-app which provides loans to help customers buy goods and pay later from approved merchants via Lipa Na M-PESA.
To be precise it’s known as faraja mini-app and it’s found within the larger M-PESA App by Safaricom.
With MPESA app one can navigate to faraja and access loans . The loan amounts a customer can qualify for ranges from KES 20 to KES 100,000.
How to Download Faraja Loan App APK
There’s no faraja loan app as a stand alone app. For this reason a customer cannot download the app even from play store.
How then can one access Faraja loans? There are two ways through which a customer can access faraja loans;
- Through used code *799#
- Through M-Pesa App
The repayment duration is up to 30 days. When the time pay faraja loan is due, customers can pay via the faraja mini-app within M-PESA App or by dialling used code *799#
