Standard Chartered is one of the mandated banks that will collect toll fees in the new Nairobi Expressway. You will be able to top up your On Board Unit (OBU) or the Manual Toll Card (MTC) directly from the SC Mobile App or Online Banking. Here is how
Step 1: Log into your SC Mobile app or Online Banking
Step 2 : On the menu, select Payments , then after select One Time Bill Payment
Step 3: Under Biller Type select Toll Road , then after under Biller Name select Nairobi Expressway
Step 4: Under Top-up type, select OBU or Card
Step 5 : Enter your 16-digit OBU number or card number then after your passport or ID number registered with the Nairobi Expressway
Step 6 : Confirm your OBU or card number and ID/passport number
Step 7: Confirm all the information you have keyed in and then confirm the payment.
You can now travel with convenience.
